WELCOME

We are delighted to announce our upcoming conference on the Dynamics of Plant Genome that will take place in BORDEAUX between the 3rd and 4th of June 2026.

The scope of this conference is broad and will cover a wide array of topics, including:

- Plant (epi)genome evolution and dynamic.

- Evolutionary dynamic of duplicated genes and genomes.

- Emergence of phenotypic innovations.

- Molecular mechanisms underpinning (epi)genomic diversity: meiotic recombination, transposable elements, DNA methylation, chromatin compaction, interspecific hybridisation, …

- Polyploid speciation, adaptation and diversification.

- Plant domestication.

- Plant pan-genome.

Our network is open to a wide array of disciplines: genomics, quantitative and population genetics, cytogenetics, functional genetics, bioinformatics, metabolomics, molecular phylogenomic and evolution.

The aims of this conference are the following: (i) sharing new insights and identifying promising directions for future research, (ii) enabling the new generation of scientists (Ph.D., post-doc, early-career researchers) to present their work and their new exciting vision of these vibrant fields; (iii) favor networking, sharing ideas, and establish new collaborations.

It is important to note that this workshop also warmly welcomes scientists working on similar aspects in other organisms besides plants (e.g on polyploid species or on the evolutionary dynamic of duplicated genes).

The registration of this conference is free but mandatory to help organising the meeting: https://dynagev-2026.sciencesconf.org

Abstract submission: after registering, click on your profile (top right), then on "my submissions".

It is open to scientists from France and abroad. There would be oral and poster sessions, as well as an on-site visit.

Once again, we are all truly excited and looking forward to meeting you all in this beautiful city of Bordeaux for the 7th Dynagev workshop series.
